This new contact anthropometric measuring instrument with opening arms and rounded ends is designed for measuring body width dimensions of the adult population. It is manufactured from light anticorrosive materials, and fitted with removable magnifying glass for better legibility of the scale. The magnifying glass is in a transversal direction corresponding with the natural view of the person handling the instrument.
